It's been over a year since I posted an update. In anycase, lot's of stuff has happened, broke, fixed, etc. I have the manual transfer case working with no more issues. Recently replaced my rear wheel bearings, replaced a broken ring and pinion, got some new wheels/tires. They are H1 8-bolt recentered military wheels and Goodyear military tires. Wheels/tires were purchased from TrailWorthyFab.com. Tires are 37x12.50x16.50. Here's an updated pic:
How wide is your fron axle? I want to use a 75 F250 3/4 ton D44 front but keep my stock(upgrade the insides) tundra rear... any thoughts?
ReplyDeleteSorry Adam, just noticed your response. The axle from the 78 F250 is ideal because of the wider width than the F150's and it has the thicker axle tubes. Mine is from a F150 and I'm using 2" wheels spacers for the front to reduce the rubbing.
