Solar and battery setup...

I have 2 6V Interstate batteries, rated at 210ah, wired in series. They are connected to a Renogy 30a controller and then to a 200w solar panel. Batteries power a 1000w inverter (located behind the Dometic fridge mounted to the bed), a 12v cig light outlet and USB ports. Just waiting for the drawer slides to mount the solar panel.

7" round LED projector headlights

Just another headlight upgrade post, but a tad bit different.

I didn't want to spend a few hundred dollars on led retrofits or custom led headlights. So, I removed the factory housing and replaced them with 7" round housings and LED headlights. Not worried about the exposed areas, front end is already fully exposed. So, F it. Total cost, $160. All hardware was leftover parts from my bucket-o-parts. Light output is great and seems to have the proper cutoff. Just need to fine tune the aim.

 Freshened up the front end by repainting the front bumper, grill and surrounding parts.

 PSC steering pump ended up failing. So, I purchased a steering pump from Trail Gear. I also installed a PS fluid filter from Amazon.

Got the PSC power steering pump (PSC-SP1200X) and PSC 4.5" pulley (PP2401) finally mounted, aligned and plumbed. I had to reroute some lines, add additional JIC fittings (#10 and #6), make some spacers and shim with spacers to make it all work. In the end, I now have a hi-flow PS pump that should work well with my hydro assist set-up. Right before the PS upgrade, I changed my timing belt and water pump.
